About IM Symposium
What is IM Symposium?
The Information Management “IM” Symposium is an annual event started in 2000, presented and hosted by various Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plan Information Professionals. The purpose is to provide Plan business and technical representatives an opportunity to network and exchange best practices and innovations in the field of information management, information architecture, data warehousing, business intelligence, informatics and analytics with the end result of delivering actionable business value to the Plans through the power of information assets. The IM Symposiums consistently draw a high level of attendees due to continued member input and overwhelming interest.
Blue Cross of Idaho is proud to host the 2019 Information Management Symposium in the great city of
Boise, Idaho, (located in the beautiful Treasure Valley) September 15-18! So please mark your calendar and plan to attend.
Call for Speakers - Closed (No further Speakers needed)
The Program Committee has identified a wide variety of potential topics for the 2019 agenda. This year’s theme is Information Mining In The Treasure Valley. These topics include both technology as well as business-oriented presentations. Your topic should help Blues organizations to reveal the "treasures" in their own data, through tools and techniques we can all share. You may also team up with one of your vendors and give a Plan/Vendor presentation of a success story or lessons learned. A list of proposed program topics can be found below.
This award is bestowed upon the top three breakout sessions, as voted by the attendees. Each attendee will fill out a survey for each of the breakout sessions they attend. We then calculate the overall votes and announce the winners. These three winners will each have the opportunity to do a 15-minute presentation in the general session on Wednesday, which is a great opportunity to reach everyone. Every breakout session is eligible to win, so good luck!

All speaker submissions are required by April 12, 2019 for consideration.
